Reverend Kenneth Solomon Killiebrew Jr., was born February 19, 1985 to Kenneth Solomon Killiebrew Sr. and Donna Durant Killiebrew. Reverend Killiebrew was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He is a graduate of Sawanaka High School. Reverend Killiebrew also attended the Brooklyn Academy of Music and the famous Juilliard School of Music in New York City, NY. He served as an active and faithful member of the Wayside Baptist Church in Brooklyn, NY under the leadership of the late and great Reverend Joe Parker. He is a true servant of God and seeking to do his will.
Reverend Killiebrew preached his first sermon on Father’s Day June 15, 2008 at the Hutchinson Missionary Baptist Church Montgomery, Al where he serves as The Interim Youth Pastor, and College Ministry Director under Pastor Dr. G.W.C. Richardson Jr. Reverend Killiebrew was ordained to preach the gospel on April 3, 2010. He is a mentor to many young people locally, nationally, and internationally.
He currently holds the position as the National Youth President of the Progressive National Baptist Convention under the leadership of Dr. T. Dewitt Smith Jr., National President. He is a visionary, and enthusiastic leader, whose mission is centered on transforming the lives of God’s people.
He is a graduating Senior at Alabama State University in Montgomery, Al. He will graduate this year with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Physical Education. His plans after graduation are to attend Seminary School to receive his Masters Degree in Divinity, followed by a Doctorate in Christian Education.
K. Solomon married his best friend Jasmine Carstarphen-Killiebrew on September 7,2007. He currently resides in Montgomery, Al. When asked what his mission is, he will simply reply, “TO MAKE AN IMPACT ON THE WORLD!” He is a firm believer that with God all things are possible, because he knows that it’s not about him, but it’s about Jesus!!!
